CALL: Call for Teaching Innovation Projects
ENTITY: Vice-Rector’s Office for Academic Policy, University of Zaragoza
DATE: 2018/19 Academic Year

The low attendance rates traditionally experienced by university teaching can impact the operation, quality, and teaching experience of in-person classes and ultimately influence students’ academic performance. This low attendance, or absenteeism, is considered a major problem from an educational, social, economic, and personal perspective. Based on these assumptions, the objective of this project is to test the empirical relationship between student attendance in in-person classes and the resulting success and academic performance rates.
