The practical approach is one of the main distinguishing features of the Zaragoza University School of Tourism. From the first year, our students become integrated into the professional environment through internships in companies and institutions in Aragón, across Spain, and abroad. This early connection with the labour market allows them to gain solid experience, supported by paid internships with high educational value. In fact, very few students complete the fourth year without having successfully completed a practical placement that strengthens their professional profile.
GET TO KNOW OUR METHOD
With a focus on student development, we combine academic training, both theoretical and practical, with a direct connection to the tourism sector.
Personalised Training
Personalised attention to students is a defining characteristic of the Zaragoza University School of Tourism. To ensure this, we work with small groups and encourage close, collaborative relationships with the teaching staff, thereby fostering the highest quality education.
Academic Visits
Throughout the academic year, visits to key tourism agents and relevant destinations are regularly organized. Our main goal is for students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the tourism sector from various perspectives, through direct experiences that enrich their education.
Expertia Tour Series
The Expertia Tour series invites prominent professionals from the tourism field to the Zaragoza University School of Tourism. Their participation offers us the opportunity to broaden our sector perspective, discover new trends, identify best practices, and learn from real and successful experiences.
Coffees with Alumni
Periodically, our alumni hold informal meetings with current students. These mentoring sessions strengthen the ETUZ intergenerational network and provide first-hand insights into the working world, sharing experiences and advice from those who have already started their professional journey.
